EmberFest 2011

The Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce and its Appomattox Cheerz Committee want to thank everyone for their support during the fifth annual "EmberFest" held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 4:30p-8:30p in Courtland Field. 

The event featured something for everyone.  Adults were entertained by the SOUTHPAW band.  And, everyone enjoyed the hot dogs & hamburgers cooked by the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Dept. and the grilled chicken & pork BBQ prepared by K & E Grill.  The weather was beautiful early in the day but turned quite blustery & cold after the sun went down.  But, with good music & good food, we had lots of folks brave the weather to finish out the event.
